WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO SIGN UP FOR THE COURSE?
Sign up online! Click on the “Sign Up Here” button and complete the online application and hit submit. You may also call 850-456-2277 and sign up over the phone.
Where are classes taught?:
The classroom and range is located at the Hadji Shrine Temple 800 W. Nine Mile Rd Pensacola FL 32534
HOW MUCH ARE THE COURSES?
The cost for the Basic RiderCourse is $200.00.
The cost for the Experienced RiderCourse is $100.00.
The cost for Kick Start Course is $50.00

WHAT WILL I NEED TO BRING TO THE COURSE?
You will need:
1. Over the ankle footwear (Ladies, please use low or no heels)
2. Long pants
3. Long sleeve shirt or Jacket
4. Full-fingered gloves
5. Helmet (We can provide a helmet if needed.)
6. Eye protection Note: Glasses are considered eye protection for the purpose of this instruction.
7. Sunglasses and sun screen are recommended.
CAN I WEAR MY OWN HELMET?
Yes, if you already own a helmet and it is DOT approved you may wear it.
WILL THE CLASS BE CANCELED IF IT RAINS?
No. We will ride in the rain, just as you would in real-life. Bring a rain suit.
CAN I USE MY OWN BIKE IN THE COURSE?
For the Basic RiderCourse and Kick Start students will use our training bikes.
For the Experienced RiderCourse students will use their own bikes.
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE?
If you are a Florida resident you must be 15 ½ and have held a car learners permit for at least 6 months.
WHAT KIND OF BIKES DO YOU USE?
We use primarily Honda motorcycles.
I ONLY WEIGH 95 POUNDS ARE THE BIKES HEAVY?
No, we have bikes that you will be able to easily control and be comfortable on.
I AM ONLY 4’ 11” TALL WILL THE BIKE FIT ME?
Yes, we have bikes to fit all heights and weights.
I AM 6’ 6” AND WEIGHT 385 POUNDS DO YOU HAVE A BIKE FOR ME?
We sure do!
HOW WILL I GET MY MOTORCYCLE ENDORSEMENT ON MY DRIVERS LICENSE AFTER THE COURSE?
Take your current Florida Drivers License to the DMV along with the Motorcycle Safety Foundation card that you will receive upon completion of the course and $17. They will issue you a new license with “MOTORCYCLE ALSO” printed in the lower right corner.
REFUND POLICY:
When enrolling, you are purchasing a seat in the class of your choice. Once purchased, that seat is set aside for only your use. Please select the date that will ensure you can attend each day for the times indicated. You must attend all class/range sessions.
Cancellation:
All fees are nonrefundable unless students call 850-456-2277 or email kgrant@bikertraining.net 6 days prior to their scheduled class to obtain a partial refund. A partial refund is full tuition minus a $75 processing fee.
Postponement:
There is no charge for postponement provided the student calls or emails at least 2 days prior to their scheduled class. If less than 2 days prior or if a student does not complete the entire class, a seat in a subsequent class may be purchased for $150.00.
Late Arrivals:
Learning to ride a motorcycle requires skill progression. This progression begins with small tasks and builds to larger, more complex tasks. It is critical that students arrive on time. Preferably, come early! If you miss a class or range session, you will not be allowed to complete the course and will have to purchase another seat in a later class.
